NIGHT OF SIGHT & SOUND is a multidisciplinary art exhibition and performance benefit that occurs quarterly. The event is partnered with Alternatives (non-profit) to help raise funds for thier youth programs. There will be visual art, live painters, DJs, film, live music, break dancers & poetry performances.
PARTICIPATING ARTISTS INCLUDE: DJ Jay iLLa & Ivy League (as seen on MTV), Roger Bonair-Agard (3x HBO Def Poet), Death From Below (HBO Def Poets), Alternatives break dance crew, and many others!

LP will bring back the tradition of an annual poetry festival to Chicago! It's been too long that this city (the birthplace of slam poetry) hasn't had a festival of words that demands the attention of the National & International poetic communities!
