»radiant devices« are Lethal Poetry Label's premier act, formerlly The Mojdeh Project, have conquered the underground rock scene in Chicago and beyond! »radiant devices« have shared the stage with major label and indie acts alike! They utilize odd objects like propane tanks and satelite dishes and juxtapose molodic vocals, driving music, and poetry-with-a-vengence!
”…nothing short of refreshing and daringly creative...the sound comes off as gumbo rich with a dash of spoken word, jazz, ambient beats, and hard rock…” - Loud Loop Press

Originally formed in 2003 & signed to Lethal Poetry Records in December 2007, Hollow Frames is a semi-electronic, semi-folk, semi-foley industrial act. Originally from Moscow, Russia, this solo artist pushes aesthetic & conceptual boundaries. He creates a sonic world where the typewriter is just as important an instrument as the guitar!

The Mojdeh Project was formerly a three piece band - but Mojdeh, a performance poet and musician reclaimed this name as her solo project.
The Mojdeh Project has released three albums, most recently "Oxygen" & "Journeys Through Junkyards" which you can learn more about and listen to here!
RESIDENT ARTISTS

Lauren Herrmann is a Kansas-born, multi-disciplinary artist/writer. Her photography proclaims both the interconnectivity of all human beings, as well as the character that make us each unique. Lauren's move from a rural area to Chicago brought with it an interest in photographing urban life. Her urban work was first exhibited at the Art on Track after party, "Derailed" in 2008, though she exhibits regularly in both Kansas & Chicago.
The body of work Lauren will be creating under her Lethal Poetry residency revolves around volunteering for a number of local non-profit organizations and documenting the good work they do in the community.
A recent solo show in UIC's New Works gallery featured work from her time over seas, as a volunteer photographer for three local NGOs (NYOF, NECO, & PIN). Her travels have taken her to many countries including Japan, India, Nepal, and Israel. She looks forward to furthering her work with non-profit organizations that aim to create positive change in under-developed and under-privelaged communities around the world.
